Refund & Cancellation Policy

Donations are final and non-refundable. Once a donation has been completed and a receipt issued, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, reversed or transferred, whatever the amount or the reason.

1. Donations are gifts

Every donation to Seeya Charitable Foundation is a voluntary gift for charitable purposes. You receive nothing in exchange, and a gift cannot be returned. This applies to every donation, whether made online, by bank transfer, cheque, demand draft, cash or UPI, to a campaign or to our general fund, and whether the amount is large or small.

It also applies to a donation made by mistake: for example, a wrong amount, a wrong campaign, or the same gift made twice. Please check the amount and details before you pay. Funds are put to work for our schools, hostels, playgrounds and skill and women empowerment programmes soon after they arrive, and the tax receipt we issue is recorded in our accounts and in our statements to the tax authorities, so we cannot undo it.

2. No cancellation after payment

You can stop at any point before you pay: close the payment window and nothing is charged. After a payment succeeds it cannot be cancelled. We do not offer recurring donations or subscriptions, so there is nothing to cancel later.

3. When a payment is not a donation

A payment only becomes a donation when it is confirmed. A payment that fails, or that your bank debited but was never confirmed to us, is not a donation, and we never receive that money. In that case:

Your bank or the payment provider (Razorpay) returns the money to your original payment method automatically, usually within 5–7 working days.
If you have not received it after 7 working days, contact your bank first, quoting the transaction reference. You are welcome to write to us with that reference too, and we will help you trace what happened.
You will not receive a receipt for a payment that was not confirmed.

4. Other things you may pay for

Donations are the only payments we accept through this website. We do not sell goods, tickets or memberships. If that changes, the terms for those payments will be shown before you pay.

5. Your data and your donation

Deleting your account or withdrawing consent under our Privacy Policy does not cancel or refund a donation you have already made. We keep the records the law requires for tax and accounting, as explained there.
